Planet of the Apes is an homage to the golden era of hip hop: the 1990s. Recorded over fourteen classic beats, unauthorized, but credited (below), this free mixtape is intended not to challenge the original works, but pay respect to them, all in an effort to help bring recognition of these classics to a younger audience, and celebrate a time when hip hop was at its best.
