KRGB

KRGB is a solo electronic project of Kirill A. Snopov based out of Seattle, WA.

Kirill was born in Moscow, Russia in 1984 and made his way to the US in March of 1998. Until 2003 he pursued an education in political science, German language and information technology. Having struggled with seeing a creative outlet he later decided to pursue graphic design and music while working various jobs.

His infatuation with electronic music began in 1991 when he acquired “Charly” – a debut single from “The Prodigy”, which at the time possessed a very different sound in the electronic scene of Europe. Over the years he has immersed himself in different types of electronic music, as well as jazz and blues, and dabbled in recording various genres. The true passion for writing stated around 2004, having been introduced to new and different sound he decided to pursue his own style and form something that presented more fullness and texture. He began to experiment with combining styles of IDM and Breaks heavily concentrated on percussion and analogue sound. He is currently working on his first release which is due in the beginning of 2012.
